Tree Project

Recently, a friend and fellow photographer who I very much admire told me how much she liked my "tree" images. It made me realize that I do take quite a lot of tree images. They are something I gravitate towards when feeling inspired. Sometimes my children are in them, and more recently they are not. Over the weekend, there was a day when a deep fog hung over our town, for hours. I knew it was not going to last and was extremely rare. My kids did go outside but because there was still quite a lot of snow, they wanted to wear snowsuits to play and that did not go with the images I had in mind.  There is something definitely very soothing about taking a walk alone and getting lost in photographing the beauty you see and feel. And so that's what I did. I have been intrigued by multiple exposures so I worked on getting some of those. This post includes some of the shots I took in the fog and a few I took this last week.
