Margaret and Jimmy and Irish Twins

Margaret and Jimmy.  Jimmy and Margaret. I love their story. I love that they were friends for so long, fell in love and had two baby girls in one year. 364 days apart. Irish twins and sisters forever and ever. I love that my sister Margaret always wanted girls, and here they are, real, beautifully real. Maeve and Tess. Tess and Maeve. Sisters. Entwined hearts. And I love that I was able to photograph this love, these hearts.

Here is the beginning of a dream, the start of a family, deep in the throes of mother and fatherhood. Life with two babies. Two new souls, one fresh from the womb, the other still all sweet baby.

My hand and my sister's (she also happens to be the best auntie in the world and has loved my kids and my sister's like her own for so very long, I can't wait to do the same for her.)

Oh my! Oh my! Oh my! What a beautiful family captured so perfectly by these stunning photographs! Love!
